Raid Night.
Crawling out of my camp for the night, the long battle of yesterday well behind me, I realize my provisions have run low and the guild may need my help in the raid tonight. Obviously, before starting my long, strenuous journey to the general store to restock I must check the status of equipment from the night before and complete my daily quests so that there will be no need to rush around before the raid.
Completing my quests I log off my account and realize it is already well past noon and the heat of the outside does little to comfort my pale skin (achieved through countless hours in the basement leveling, raiding, and questing). I go to the driveway, unlocking my golden dragon, and hop into the saddle. Finally turning the ignition switch my dragon roars to life and I fly to the store to load up on Red Bull, chips, and cigarettes to prepare myself for hours of raiding. I hand my gold over to the cashier and am soon out the door. I saddle back up and return to my camp in front of the computer to return to my fantasy(?) world.
7:00 p.m.
Raid Time! I am well prepared. Character prepared for tonights battle against Hex Lord Malacrass in the raid zone, Zul'Aman. As a guild officer of OrcSplitters Local 101 and the raid leader for the night, it is my duty to make sure everything runs smoothly tonight; needless to say I am slightly on edge as we are about to face a boss we have never encountered before. I wish my team luck and engage the boss.
Sucess!!
WE HAVE DONE IT! For the night, the raid is complete and tomorrow is yet another day in Azeroth.
I go to bed thinking of the day ahead of me and I begin to question which life I'm really leading.
Which world is this?
